A is for ALL new
Whether you're enhancing your front, side, or back entrance, a NEW outdoor mat is an excellent start. Remember to take measurements, and I enjoy using blue painter's tape to outline the width and length of the doormat. The biggest mistake most homeowner's make when purchasing rugs is they buy them too small. Go big or go home!

B is for Basic
It's essential to begin with a basic foundation for planters. If you're struggling to decide, opt for an all-white planter. Visit your nearby nursery and grab a Kimberly Queen Fern (*full sun option) or a Boston Fern (*shade option) to add a touch of green. When fall arrives, you can swap the fern for a Porch Sister flowerpot insert.
C is for Coffee (that's good enough to drink!)
Although this isn't related to plants or containers, it's a fitting topic for the start of the school year because strong coffee empowers you to accomplish anything! This coffee machine was a Christmas gift from a few years ago, and I can genuinely say it's my favorite kitchen appliance. If you are in the market for a new one, get this one ... you won't regret it!
